Political Cornflakes: Thousands tell stories of when they were taunted, ‘Go back where you came from’

When The New York Times asked readers if they have ever been told to “go back where you came from” — a taunt President Donald Trump aimed at four women of color in Congress — it was flooded with 16,000 responses. Stories came from African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Native Americans, Jewish Americans and others. Some say they have heard the taunt throughout their lives. The newspaper condensed 67 of the stories into a feature. [NYTimes]
