Regional Bloc IGAD Urges South Sudan to Pay Out Peace Deal Funds

Regional bloc Inter-Governmental Authority on Development has asked South Sudan's President Salva Kiir to disburse the balance of the pledged $100 million to speed up the implementation of the peace agreement. IGAD, which brokered the peace agreement, convened a meeting in Addis Ababa on August 21, at which the country's peace process was discussed.
