AECOM, Dallas, has named Dev Rastogi vice president and Dallas executive; she will spearhead the strategy, growth and leadership of the company’s business in North Texas. In her new role, Rastogi will focus on full-service solutions for the transportation, water, energy, education and health care industries. She will also oversee AECOM’s Dallas cities program, addressing urban issues such as climate adaptation, sustainable economic development and capital asset reliability as well as prioritizing projects to help balance the maintenance and rehabilitation of aging infrastructure with the need for sustainable growth. Rastogi previously served as transportation group director and vice president for Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc.

Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing announced a series of new hires and promotions. Andy Wharton has been promoted to vice president-general manager of the firm’s Dallas and Oklahoma offices. In Houston, Nelson Duran has been promoted to senior project manager. In Dallas, Cody Gibson has been promoted to superintendent and Nate Greve has been promoted to project manager. Also in Houston, Bryan McKinley was hired as a superintendent. In Austin, Daniel Beauchamp was hired as a CAD specialist, Ty Creel and Clinton Kemp as superintendents and Jorge Reyes as a safety coordinator. In Dallas, Josue Mora was hired as a project coordinator and Chandler Sinn as a project estimator.

Greg Farnet has joined Gibbs Construction, New Orleans, as vice president. He has been involved at every level of the commercial building process during his 40-year career, from preconstruction and estimating to the roles of project superintendent, project manager and vice president.

Eric Miller was named vice president of business development and marketing for MMR Group, Baton Rouge, overseeing all marketing and business development efforts for the company’s 20-plus offices throughout North and South America. He has been with MMR for 11 years, serving in previous roles as project manager and regional sales manager.

Pfluger Architects, Austin, has named seven new principals and shareholders: Heather Blazi, Frances Brooks, Terry Hoyle, Michael Martinez, Tony Plascencia, Andrew Perez and Jacqueline Warner. Manuel Garza has been promoted to senior project architect in Pfluger’s San Antonio office. Garza has worked for Pfluger Architects since 2002 in various roles, including project architect, project manager and project designer.

Kyle Freeman has been promoted to national senior safety manager for Ferrovial Agroman US and Canada. In his new role, Freeman will oversee all field safety operations on all affiliated projects in the US and Canada while he continues to lead the safety department for the North Tarrant Express-3C project in Fort Worth. Freeman joined Ferrovial Agroman in August 2010 after working for more than 10 years in the industry in other safety leadership positions.

Heather Harris has joined Carollo Engineers Inc.’s Austin office as Texas director of stormwater practice. With 21 years of experience, Harris brings extensive knowledge in stormwater management and stream stabilization/restoration. The firm also hired Greg Hooten to join its Dallas team as a senior project manager and vice president. He brings 29 years of experience in the design, program management and construction management of large-diameter pipelines, tunnels, pump stations, treatment plants and flood control facilities for Texas municipal clients.

EMJ Construction has hired Jack Brown as director of construction in the firm’s Dallas office. He brings more than 33 years of construction management experience to his new role, including time at Balfour Beatty and CBG Building Co. as a leader of multifamily and mixed-use markets.
 

Joanna Lam has joined PhiloWilke Partnership as director of interiors. Lam has more than 30 years of design experience in health care and corporate and commercial projects. In her new role, she will lead the interior design direction for the firm as well as broaden service offerings to include furniture design and specifications.

Ware Malcomb has made several new hires at its Texas offices.

Chris Royster has joined the firm as regional director to lead the Houston office. In this role, Royster is responsible for the overall growth and management of the Houston office. Heather Griffin has been promoted to director of interior architecture and design in the firm’s Houston office. Griffin is responsible for the growth and management of the interior architecture and design studio and oversees all interiors projects for the Houston office. Staci Tave has joined the firm as studio manager for interior architecture and design in the Dallas office. In this role, Tave oversees Ware Malcomb’s interior architecture and design studio and manages select projects.

The Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance Inc. (GBRIA) recently promoted Sue Leger to associate director of marketing and administration and Brandon Smith to associate director of safety, health and security. Leger joined GBRIA in 2008 as an administrative assistant in a part-time role, which quickly grew to full time. In her expanded role, Leger will take on event coordination, administrative, data analysis and marketing efforts. Smith joined GBRIA in 2017 to lead the association’s safety, health and security strategic initiatives. In his expanded role, Smith will interact more with external stakeholders, manage GBRIA’s website and brand and take on new administrative responsibilities.

Mike Weaver has joined HNTB Corp. as central region strategic business development officer. He is based in the firm’s Austin office. In this role, Weaver works alongside a variety of clients to help them create and execute innovative transportation programs that enhance mobility and connectivity through a variety of finance mechanisms. Prior to joining HNTB, Weaver owned a consulting firm.

Lori Fox has been promoted to Texas/Mountain regional manager for planning and environmental planning in WSP USA’s Denver office. In her new role, Fox will lead development of the firm’s growing planning and environmental planning practice in the Texas/Mountain region, with offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque and Tempe, Ariz. She previously served as environmental planning practice leader for the firm, managing a group of nationwide professionals to assist federal, state, local and private clients as they adapt to changing compliance requirements across the U.S. WSP has also named Art Reinhardt, former interim deputy director of the transportation and capital improvements department for the city of San Antonio, as the firm’s San Antonio office lead for transportation. In his new role, Reinhardt will work to expand all markets in transportation and infrastructure, support diversification and growth, drive strategic direction and support the firm in its growth goals in the San Antonio and surrounding region.

Sundt Construction recently added numerous employee-owners to its San Antonio office. The building group added Nathan Ghormley as a senior project manager and Edson Salazar as an assistant project manager. The transportation group has added Mark Cochrane as a survey project manager, Brad Tatsch as a senior estimator, Leroy Benavides as a project engineer, Ben Van Dijk and Andres Cantu as field engineers. The firm has also added Alexi Santillan as a field engineer and promoted Gianna Aguirre to field engineer II in its El Paso office. Kelly Burnett has joined Sundt as North Texas area manager for the company’s transportation group.

Cindy Villarreal has joined O’Connell Robertson in Houston as project manager and project architect. She brings more than 12 years of experience in higher education, science/tech and health care design to the firm and will focus on regional expansion for O’Connell Robertson in these project types.

Ravi Mullapudi has joined Walker Consultants in Houston as a senior consultant with a focus on forensics, analysis, design and strengthening of residential, commercial, onshore, nuclear, petrochemical, parking and environmental structures for normal design loads and for extreme loads such as blast, fire, seismic and high wind loads.

Anye Ndefru was recently promoted to senior II, InTouch engineer at Schlumberger. He is now a senior member of the team providing global support to maximize drilling productivity in oil and gas reservoirs.
