President Trump holds rally in New Hampshire
President Donald Trump held a campaign rally in New Hampshire on Sunday, one day after voting early in Florida.
Trump spoke for more than an hour to an enthusiastic crowd outside Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
Trump credited the Granite State for launching his campaign back in 2016 and landing him the Republican ticket.
"Sleepy Joe Biden doesn't care about New Hampshire," Trump said. "He left this state before the primary was even over. He abandoned you."
Trump also discussed his COVID-19 diagnosis.
"You know, I didn't feel good," He said. "But, we have wonderful doctors. Sean, the White House doctor. I had 12 of them. From Johns Hopkins. I had doctors from the best schools and best doctors in the world."
Despite an increase in COVID-19 cases across the U.S. and here in New Hampshire, the president said the country has turned a corner in its fight against the pandemic.
Trump promised a stronger economy post-coronavirus.
"We will deliver record prosperity, epic job growth, ground-breaking therapies," Trump said.
The Biden campaign released a response to the president's visit that said Trump's failure to act on COVID-19 has resulted in hundreds of lives lost in New Hampshire and left more than 10,000 Granite Staters infected.
