Massachusetts Governor Healey Going Wild With Taxpayers’ Credit Card
Massachusetts Democrat Governor Maura Healey has been fearmongering since President Donald Trump was elected and appointed Elon Musk to conduct a forensic audit of the federal budget.
Ol' Henny Penny Healey has warned that the Republican Party's policies will "devastate" the people of Massachusetts.
Healey told the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce in February that "Health care costs would double for more than 300,000 residents who use the Health Connector marketplace, and 1.2 million kids and families who rely on food assistance would have that taken away at a time when grocery prices are high and only getting higher."

Healey predicted that nearly two million state residents risk losing health care coverage altogether – but there aren't even two million people receiving state-funded health care in Massachusetts.
Healey fears $16 billion in federal aid could be snatched away by Trump and Musk, cuts that that would be "unsustainable."
It all sounds so scary, but Healey has presented no evidence that any of this will happen.
In the meantime, Healey is on a spending spree with the people's credit card.
On St. Patrick's Day, Healey was out in the Berkshires, just one of several stops statewide to tout her plan to borrow $8 billion to fund her transportation program which includes new roads, bridges and more.
Healey is also looking to borrow $2.5 billion to "modernize public higher education campuses in Massachusetts," and has proposed borrowing $1.8 billion for her housing initiative.
Didn't Healey just sign legislation committing $100 million per month to migrant housing through June?
Ka-ching! Just add it to the people's tab. If we are about to be devastated as Healey suggests, is it wise to borrow so much money?
Healey's shopping spree comes as she asks lawmakers to increase taxes and fees. What is that money intended for?
Don't tell anyone, but Massachusetts has $9 billion salted away in a rainy day account, though I'm told it's in a lockbox and remains untouchable.
