Each week, KETV NewsWatch 7 showcases an animal up for adoption at the Nebraska Humane Society.Artemis is the goddess of hunt, as long as she’s hunting for toys! She doesn’t care if it’s a frisbee, a tennis ball, or a soft toy — she can play for hours!She's a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever and Chinese Sharpei mix. When Artemis came to the shelter last November, she was shy and timid around new people. But after working with the staff and volunteers at the shelter for 4 months she’s gotten so much better!She can be selective about who she wants to play with, so she’ll need to meet any other dogs you own before she comes home with you.All Artemis needs is a little love and space to shine—adopt her today and let the magic begin!If Artemis is not quite the right fit for you and your family, you can see all of the pets available at NHS.
