Oklahoma State softball evens up series vs Baylor thanks to six-run fourth inning
The 13th-ranked Oklahoma State softball team used a six-run fourth inning to cruise to a 9-5 win over Baylor on Saturday, evening up a three-game series in Stillwater.
The Cowgirls (18-7, 3-3 Big 12) climbed out an early three-run hole, starting with Amanda Hasler's solo home run in the third inning.
Micaela Wark led off the bottom of the fourth with a solo home run to left before OSU loaded the bases. Hasler drew a run-scoring walk, then back-to-back doubles from Megan Delgadillo and Tallen Edwards plated four runs that opened up a 7-3 advantage for the Cowgirls.
OSU plated another run in the fifth when Tia Warsop tagged up and scored from third on a fly ball off the bat of Hasler that was caught in foul territory by Baylor right fielder Ashlyn Wachtendorf.
