Shooting at New Mexico Park Causes Three Deaths, 15 Injuries
(MENAFN) A shooting at Young Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Friday resulted in three fatalities as well as 15 injuries, based on local police. The case took place about 10 p.m. (0400GMT Saturday), as reported by Las Cruces police on Facebook.
The victims included two 19-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy, whereas those wounded were between the ages of 16 and 36. Authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the deceased or the injured individuals.
No arrests have been made so far, however, investigators are strongly following several leads, as stated in the police report. Additional law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and New Mexico State Police, are aiding Las Cruces police in the ongoing investigation.
