    UVM fans support women's basketball team as it takes on the Wolfpack in NCAA tournament.

    Even with a handful of states separating Vermont and North Carolina, Catamount fans did not miss a single play watching the NCAA tournament from the taproom at Zero Gravity, all tuning in to see UVM's women's basketball take on the Wolfpack in Raleigh, North Carolina."March Madness isn't just about the guys," said UVM fan Tracy Truzansky. "It's great to have this support."Zero Gravity was just one of the many Burlington businesses showing support for the green and gold, bringing in fans and alumni across multiple generations.Duke's Public House also fostered that team mentality with a watch party in South Burlington."I don't think people realize how difficult it is to get into this tournament. They call it March Madness for a reason," said Duke's manager Jim Provost.Duke's offered a front-row seat to the game and some juicy wings right off the stove.Meanwhile on Church Street, the UVM Catamount Store had special T-shirts to celebrate the women's team making it this far. "Vermonters and Burlington are excited to be able to support all of our UVM teams that get into the championships," said employee Kelly Darling.Each business says Vermont fans are something special and anytime the Catamounts make it to nationals, they will be cheering them on, no matter the distance between them and their team.Even though the women's team will not play another round in the championship this season, fans say they have been proud to watch them fight for this moment for the past five months.
