CLEVELAND — Less than a four-hour drive from East Lansing, Spartans fans packed Rocket Arena hoping to see Michigan State return to the Sweet 16.

After an early 10-point hole, MSU clawed its way back, rallying for a 71-63 win against No. 10 New Mexico and earning a spot in the Sweet 16.
