CLEVELAND. (WILX) - No. 2-seeded Michigan State men’s basketball took down No. 15-seeded New Mexico 71-63 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday night.. After the game was over, Tom Izzo and Michigan State players spoke to the media about the game and moving on to the Sweet 16.

Michigan State will now meet Ole Miss in the South Regional semifinal Friday at 7:09 p.m. The winner will advance to the Elite 8 to take on the winner of Michigan vs. Auburn. Michigan and Auburn will tip off around 9:39 p.m. Friday, shortly after the conclusion of Michigan State vs. Ole Miss.
