Massachusetts Shaw's Supermarkets intro Pokémon vending machines

Shaw's Supermarkets across Massachusetts have started installing specialized vending machines that dispense Pokémon trading card products, according to a WBSM report.

The initiative provides customers with a convenient, on-site purchasing option for the collectible cards. The vending machines are a recent addition to the stores, aimed at catering to the demand for Pokémon merchandise.

The introduction of these vending machines offers an alternative to traditional retail channels for acquiring Pokémon cards.

"It sells out within minutes," a Shaw's manager told the news outlet. "It seems like there are more adults than kids buying them. They're buying them and re-selling them."
