Superstar GOP activist who won Pennsylvania for Trump reveals who's getting his 2028 support
A GOP activist credited for winning Pennsylvania for Donald Trump revealed he is already starting to campaign for JD Vance to become president in 2028.
Scott Presler, described as a 'gay MAGA warrior,' was rewarded with a visit to the Oval Office by president Trump and VP Vance for helping them win Pennsylvania.
He told the Wall Street Journal that his political vision ends with Vance in the White House in 2028.
In 2023, after Trump lost Pennsylvania by 80,000 votes in 2020, Presler formed the Early Vote Action committee to register voters and commit them to cast ballots.
Presler, who spends an hour styling his luxuriant hair before TV appearances, never stopped campaigning for the GOP after the 2020 election, and wants to make sure Pennsylvania remains red, he said.
He rose to prominence after organizing a 2017 nationwide 'March Against Sharia' and was in the news again after attending the January 6 riots at the Capitol, though he has maintained he did not enter the Capitol.
Presler now plans on using his influence, which includes 2.2 million X followers, to support an eventual run for president by Vance.
Vance's name has been floated around by several MAGA figures including Tucker Carlson as the chosen replacement for Trump.

President Trump will be prevented from running for a third term, thanks to the 22nd Amendment allowing a president to only serve two terms.
Carlson spoke about Trump's successor in a conversation with radio show host Vince Coglianese, who replaced broadcaster Dan Bongino on his show after he was appointed to serve as the Deputy Director of the FBI.
'I don't see any other, at this point, as of today, any other conceivable option. I think JD Vance will be the nominee,' Carlson revealed.
Vance addressed the idea of succeeding Trump in an interview with NBC News on Friday.
'You know, if I never go further in politics, I’m totally fine with that, but we get a really good opportunity to do a lot of really good sh*t in the next four years,' he said. 'If I do really well for the next four years, everything else will take care of itself.'
But president Trump gave a stunning and frank response last month when asked if he saw Vance as his political successor.
'No,' the 78-year-old Republican said to the question, posed by Fox News' Bret Baierduring a Super Bowl interview.
Trump was asked if he viewed Vance as his political successor, and whether he expected Vance to be the 2028 Republican nominee.

After answering in the negative, Trump added, 'But he's very capable.'
'I mean, I don't think that it, you know, I think you have a lot of very capable people. So far, I think he's doing a fantastic job. It's too early,' the president said.
'We're just - starting,' Trump added.
Vance was added to the ticket in July after Trump had a falling out with his original running mate, former Vice President Mike Pence, over the 2020 election and the January 6th Capitol attack.
If the 40-year-old Vance decides to run in 2028, he could announce as early as November 2026 - with Trump setting that precedent.
During the 2024 cycle, Trump announced his third presidential campaign just a week after the midterms concluded - on November 15, 2022.
