BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky could lose nearly $150 million in health grants after the Trump administration notified the state’s health department of funding cuts this week. Governor Andy Beshear has vowed to fight to preserve the funding.

A spokesperson for the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services warned that these cuts could jeopardize key vaccination outreach, education, and service programs. Mobile vaccination services in rural and underserved areas are especially at risk if the grants are eliminated.
