SHE GIVES US A LOOK AT THE DAMAGE LEFT BEHIND. HERE IN BRANDENBURG, ALONG CEDAR LINE COURT, THERE’S A LINE OF DAMAGE DOWN THE STREET. WE SPOKE TO A NEIGHBOR WHO LIVES AT THIS HOUSE. HE SAID HE WAS HIDING INSIDE OF HIS BASEMENT AND CAME OUTSIDE IN THE MORNING TO FIND THE SIDING RIPPED OFF OF HIS HOUSE. YOU CAN EVEN SEE IT LOOKS LIKE SOME OF THE WALL WAS RIPPED OFF TOO. AND NOW THERE’S JUST PIECES OF DEBRIS EVERYWHERE. I HEAR GLASS BREAKING. ALL. LARRY IRWIN WALKED US THROUGH THE DAMAGE. THIS IS WHAT I FOUND OUT AFTER SEVERE WEATHER BLEW OUT THE WINDOWS IN HIS HOUSE, TAKING ITEMS WITH IT. FRAME FROM THE PICTURE TOOK OUT OF THE HOUSE. HE AND HIS 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HID IN THE BASEMENT AND SAYS THEY FELT INTENSE PRESSURE SHIFT THEIR HOME. IT JUST LIFTED THE HOUSE UP AND YOU COULD FEEL IT GO UP. AND IT LASTED ABOUT 15 20S. THE STORM DAMAGED THE CEILING, AND IN HIS ROOM HE FOUND HIS BED COVERED. ALL THIS IS INSULATION. OUTSIDE, TREES WERE TOPPLED OVER IN HIS YARD AND GLASS FROM HIS BACK PORCH DOOR SCATTERED ALSO THROUGHOUT HIS YARD. THAT’LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL WE GET THE REST OF THE STUFF JUST UP THE STREET. YOU COULD SEE MORE TOPPLED TREES, BARELY MISSING HOMES AT THE END OF THE CUL DE SAC, AN RV WAS TIPPED OVER WINDS THROUGH THIS SHED. IN THE ROOF OF THIS GARAGE RIPPED OFF RICH NELSON, WHO LIVES JUST ACROSS FROM IRWIN, SAYS HE AND HIS WIFE HID IN THE BASEMENT AS THE WINDS HOWLED. WE KIND OF HEARD THE HOUSE CREAKING ABOVE US. WE STARTED PRAYING. AFTER THE WEATHER PASSED, THEY CAME OUTSIDE TO SEE THE DAMAGE AND FOUND PART OF THEIR NEIGHBOR’S CARPORT IN THEIR FRONT YARD AND DEBRIS EVERYWHERE. THEY SPENT MONDAY HELPING NEIGHBORS CLEAN UP. JUST CLEANING UP. SO. AND I’M POUNDING DOWN NAILS. SO WHEN WE TAKE THIS AWAY, NOBODY GETS HURT. IRWIN SAYS HE’S GRATEFUL EVERYONE IS OKAY. YOU JUST TAKE PRECAUTIONS AND GO WHERE YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO GO AND HOPE GOD BLESS YOU. THAT'
